Personalised espresso sets

Just added to our website these personalised fine bone china espresso sets in a choice of designs.  They make great gifts for the coffee addict!

New Designs For The New Year

Vintage fine bone china floral designs are proving as popular as ever, especially with our new range of personalised vintage style teacup and saucer sets.  These make great personalised gifts which come in a great presentation box with the recipient's name.  If you're looking for a unique gift then look no more.

Our one pint fine bone china mugs are also this month's best sellers for those drinkers who like a big cup of tea or coffee.  We have a great range of vintage style designs, our ever popular animal and farmyard designs and colours to suit every taste and occasion.  These too come in their own presentation boxes and make great birthday, wedding or anniversary gifts.

WISHING ALL OUR CUSTOMERS A HAPPY CHRISTMAS

I can't believe how quickly another year has flown by and I'd like to take this opportunity of thanking all our customers old and new for their support through 2016.  I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, here's to 2017!

February Already

Can't believe we're already in the second month of the year, it's just whizzing by  As usual our 18oz large china mugs are proving one of the most popular purchases and they come in many different designs from vintage modern floral to dogs, tractors and sheep.  They come with a lovely white presentation box and make a great gift for the tea or coffee enthusiast or that person that's just hard to buy for.  Personalised mugs are also extremely popular and we've added a few new designs including the pink and purple heart chintz which makes an ideal Valentine's Day Gift.  These too come in a white presentation box and all our gifts are usually dispatched next working day.

Diggers!!

Adding new sections to the website all the time and the latest additions are the military and construction mugs.  There are loads of designs in both sections to choose from and you can either have the designs on a standard stoneware 1/2 pint mug, china beaker style mug (coffee mug) or one pint china mug.  This makes the variations endless!

The cold weather is still holding fast here in Scotland and unloading the kiln can be a wee bit of a tricky job.  The path to the kilns has been solid ice this week and it can be scary carrying a tray of china and pottery over an ice-rink.  Was so pleased yesterday to see it had finally melted - until the next lot of cold weather.  Have spent the week re-jigging our new design website and am really pleased with it.  Tried to make it more user friendly and put the designs and products into easy to find sections.  Hope you like our slide show on our home page, just to give you a few ideas of the way our products can be used.

Can't believe its 2015 again and once again the New Year means new changes to the products and the website. January is a great time to take stock and look at the best selling products, which this year are again proving to be the large one pint bone china mugs.  Remember you can purchase either from the website or our ebay store and if we don't have what you want, don't be afraid to ask.

Looking forward to new floral designs this year, a brilliant owl design and many new products.

Taste of Grampian

We've just come back from the Scottish Smallholders Spring Gathering which was a fantastic event at Thainstone, Inverurie and are looking forward to Taste of Grampian, also at Thanestone this weekend.  Regardless of weather, this fantastic event guarantees the crowds and it will be a great opportunity to showcase our Scottish themed gifts, floral jugs and Highland cow range.

Happy New Year

Can't believe another year has come and gone with Eeksie Peeksie, where does the time go, I'm sure the days are getting shorter every year.

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a great start into 2014.  We are looking forward getting stuck into new ideas and projects this year.  Usually the Christmas holidays is the time for a regrouping exercise and thinking about new projects but we were that busy up the Christmas period that we just used the time to chill and eat and chill and eat.  All the things that should have been done in that period are now waiting to be done, like the dreaded tax return (us and many small businesses can't relax now until its done).

That's next weeks jobs, hoping to ease into the New Year very gently.  Storms due today so will be battening down the hatches and keeping warm for the whole weekend.

Dundee Food and Flower Festival

We are really looking forward to exhibiting at Dundee's Annual amazing Food and Flower Festival on the 6th, 7th and 8th of September this year.  You will find us next to the Craft Tent, in the Lifestyle section, now to decide what to bring.

Although it's early, last year's Christmas range was launched there and sold extremely well so there will be some seasonal pieces.  Floral and vintage will definitely be themes for this year's displays, just have 2 weeks to decide what stock to make and fire.  We will also be bringing a wide range of our new "Tartan Hearts" which went down a storm in Aberfeldy.  Hope to see you there.

New Kiln Arrived

Great excitement in the Eeksie Peeksie Househouse with the arrival of kiln number 6!!! I'm thinking of opening a new museum for these kilns.  This one has an electric controller as opposed to my others which have kiln sitters.  For those of you that don't know, these are little bars which bend at a certain temperature and switch the kiln off, not always an exact science.  Kiln number six is high tech and has a digital read out and is a lot more precise with reaching temperatures.  Like every new toy, it will take a wee bit of getting used to but looks very nice in the kiln squadron.

Still catching up with residual orders from our Aberfeldy weekend.  Always seem to come home from events with more orders which keeps me out of mischief.  Been firing some new Prince George mugs this week to see how they go, looking forward to listing them soon.

Rural Perthshire

A terrific weekend in Highland Perthshire, the weather and the Aberfeldy Show were both amazing.  I have never met so many tourists from so many different countries, I even had to brush up on my school girl friend.

The tourists were so enthusiast for being in Scotland.  Many visited year on year.  One couple had visited nearly 12 times to Perthshire and loved it and another American told me "we scream with joy when we cross the Scottish Border, we come every year".  If all events could be like the Aberfeldy Show then it would be extremely easy to run a small crafting business.  The weather was kind, the customers were incredibly enthusiastic and all in all, a great reminder of why I love running Eeksie Peeksie.

Fortingall Yew

We are all set to exhibit at the Aberfeldy show on Friday and Saturday this week and Fortingall Village Hall on Sunday.  It is always a pleasure to visit the sight of Fortingall which has the oldest Yew tree in Europe and many say the world.

The van is to be packed and loaded tomorrow and food purchased for those teenagers and house-sitters who still need to be fed when we are away.  We will be leaving at the crack of dawn on Friday and looking forward to seeing the horses at the show on Friday.  As a Shetland owner, always enjoy chewing the cud with fellow horse enthusiasts.

Aberfeldy Show

Really looking forward to exhibiting at the Aberfeldy Show in Perthshire this weekend.  It's the first time they've had a craft marquee and we are going to be bringing a wide selection of our products to showcase.

Our tartan hearts will be making their Perthshire debut alongside many other items such as our range of floral jugs, crazy animals and of course our ceramic egg trays, always a great seller.

I love exhibiting at Agricultural events as it gives me the opportunity of speaking to my "market" and other animal obsessed patrons such as myself.  Always lots of poultry keepers at these events and great for getting and sharing tips with other like minded individuals.

Personalised wedding favours

Just completed a lovely order for an up and coming wedding for personalised wedding thimbles.  It's always great to be part of someone's special day and we can print anything onto any ceramic items.  This is what makes running Eeksie Peeksie so fun, you never know what order is going to come through the door at any time.

Also completed a bespoke order for a lovely interior shop in Dundee with the customers own design and logo, can't wait to deliver the items as they look great.  It's been a mad whirl since arriving back from holiday.  Visited potter friends in Norfolk who pour all their own china and loved having a tour of their workshops.  Even teenage daughter was interested (apparently someone else doing what your mother does is far more exciting!!)

Glamis Extravaganza

Just spent a lovely weekend enjoying the sunshine at Glamis Extravaganza, Angus.  As a huge mini and tractor fan was really excited to see the wide selection of both on display at the event at the beautiful and historical Glamis Castle.

The customers were wonderful this weekend and the strawberry and vintage bird designs were definitely the most popular of the weekend as were the ceramic egg trays, always a great item for a gift, functional and pretty.  It was brilliant having great weather this weekend, what a difference a bit of sunshine makes, quite a contrast to last year's events!!

2013 for EP

It's already proving to be a very busy month with orders already flooding in and we're not even half way through.  Going to be adding new gifts to the website over the next couple of months and thinking about some unique designs.  Designing for the ceramic market can be a very lengthy process.  Designs have to be adjusted for the printer, these are then sent away for weeks and then comes the test firing to get the perfect product.

We are going to be having a break from some of the events this year but will hopefully be appearing at The Royal Highland Show again this year.  Going to be concentrating more on the online market and increasing the range and breadth of products we do.  There never seems to be enough hours in the day at the moment.  Was hoping January was going to be a time for strategy and regrouping and new ideas but proving to be busier time than anticipated.

New Products

With Christmas rushing towards us, we will be launching new products every week.  We are going to be at the Scottish Smallholders Festival this Sunday from 8.30 onwards at Forfar, Mart.  Really looking forward to meeting lots of Smallholders, being one ourselves and getting to grips with lots of different breeds of poultry and other animals.

We offer a prompt mail order service at Eeksie Peeksie and can even adapt our products to suit the customer's requirements, whatever you would like on your gifts, we can find a design to accommodate.

Vintage Designs

We are going to be at Montrose farmers market this weekend and introducing our new range of vintage style Afternoon Tea which look gorgeous on both white and cream china and pottery.  The calender is starting to fill up now towards the end of May with Drymen being the first on the Agricultural circuit.

Really looking forward to the Highland Show although have lots of work to do for it yet.

Mother's Day this weekend

All packed and ready for a warm sunny day at Dundee Farmer's Market tomorrow.  Have plastic sheets in the van just in case.

Going to be a busy weekend, Dundee tomorrow and a fund raiser on Sunday, no restful mother's day weekend for Eeksie Peeksie

Lots of new products coming shortly thanks to lovely suggestions by our customers.  Introducing pet bowls, cats and dogs dishes (something we are often asked for) and a new range of personalised gifts ideal for birthdays and Christenings.  Its always great meeting and greeting customers, although many of our internet customers are now friends.  Customers are the best folk to point out potential products and we always listen.  hence we now have pet dishes and a new range of bespoke products coming shortly.

Mothers day is fast approaching

We are going to be at Montrose Farmers Market on Saturday with some brilliant ideas for Mother's day, many of our gifts can be personalised too for that extra special touch.

We will be bringing our latest range of products to showcase, so dont forget to let us know if there is anything in particular you would like us to bring.

Whirlwind Weekend

Another busy weekend is going to be planned for us.  We are once again working alongside Wax Teddies to do more events and advertise both businesses.  Tomorrow will see us at Eassie, Nr Glamis and Tannadice Primary School.  We will also be at Dundee Farmers Market and Eassie again on Saturday and on Sunday, we are at the Macmillan Fund Raiser in Montrose and Aberfeldy.  Eeksie Peeksie fancied a trip into Perthshire on Sunday.

The orders from the website are coming thick and fast, an eclectic mix of Christmas products, farmyard and vintage tractors.  When I get notification from the website that I've had a sale, I love opening the email to see what the customer has bought.  It's like opening a birthday present that you have no idea what is inside.

Dont forget that all of our gifts can be personalised, just let us know the name or message you would like put inside.

coming or going?

It's going to be extremely hectic for us over the next couple of weeks.  We are trying to get out and about in the community with our products and have over 30 fayres and events booked between now and Christmas.

If you see us out and about, please pop by and say hello, we may have a few more grey hairs by the time we reach 25th December.  This weekend we are going to be supporting a number of events.  Tomorrow, Friday 4th November, we will be in Arbroath for the St Thomas fundraiser, followed by Montrose Farmers Market on Saturday (fingers crossed for no rain).  We will be supporting Macmillan on Sunday at the Meadowbank and will be at Discovery Quay for Guide Dogs on Sunday Evening.

We will be bringing a few items from some of our newest ranges before they are even displayed on the web.  It's always good to get a customer's perspective, something you don't get when you run a website.  It would be lovely to see a customer's reaction to our products.  Whilst we can tell which page they looked out, how they found us and how long they spent with us, it's not the same as a smile conveyed from customer to us across a stall.

We love meeting our friends, so always say hello and if there is something you would like but cant see, just ask.x

Busy weeks ahead

For a giftware business like ours, Christmas is a very busy but rewarding time and we are looking forward to the many events over the next couple of months.

Orders can be picked up from any of these to save you delivery costs and we can also take orders from them.  We were fortunate enough to talk to Scottish Farmer yesterday and will be appearing in their Christmas Lifestyle section and our products will also be featured by Home Farmer for their gift section.  A few more seasonal and farming gift ideas.

We also were lucky enough to meet and greet Michelle Mone founder of Ultimo, this week, who gave a very inspiring talk about business and entrepreneurship.  Hearing the highs and lows of others in business, gives confidence to the fact that things dont also go right but as they say, what ever goes down must come up.

Forfar Farmers Market

We are going to be in Forfar tomorrow with the farmers market and then Dundee next week on the 15th October.  This is the calm before the storm, in a few weeks we are going to be travelling the lengths and breadths of Angus, Dundee and Aberdeen for a whole host of Christmas fayres.  We love meeting our friends so please come and introduce yourselves when we are out and about.

Have started stocking  the Birsay Farmers this week in the Orkneys and love the idea our products are travelling over land and sea.

Christmas Gifts

I know it still seems a long way off but Eeksie Peeksie are now in full swing with their Christmas orders.  We will be out and about over the next few months locally and around Scotland and we love meeting customers so please come and say hello.  We are going to be at the Bon Accord Centre in Aberdeen next Saturday and can take orders on the day for Christmas.

Aberdeen Flower Festival

We will be at Hazelhead Park this Saturday and Sunday for the annual flower show.  This is our first time attending this event and we are very excited to be going.

We will have lots of new products on display to show you including our new range of porcelain and fused glass pendants with many of the designs we use on our giftware.

Weekend here again!

What a weekend planned.  Eeksiepeeksie will be at Dundee Farmers Market as usual, is you are about please come and say hello.  We will also be at the Kirriemuir Show, so lets hope for some good weather.

Sunday we will be at Glenfarg at the Balvaird Farm fundraiser in a lovely big barn in aid of Cash for Kids and Help for Heroes.  There are going to be alot of stall holders there so don't forget to support local businesses in your area.

Daily Mirror

We were pleased to be featured by the Daily Mirror today in this Biz Bureau page, thanks for all the interest, it's been phenomenal.

Getting ready for a busy weekend at Glamis, lots more products to try!!!

Non-stop weekend

Really looking forward to an incredibly manic weekend.  We are going to be at Montrose Farmers Market to begin with on Saturday and then hopping along to the Fettercairn show, Aberdeenshire in the afternoon.

Sunday we will be attending the event at the Forbes of Kingennie with Joie de Vivre events and also at the fundraiser for the guide dogs in Dundee.  How can we attend all these events you may ask?  Well with the help of the lovely Vikki from Wax Teddies, we will be splitting the work load and the events.

Just hoping for good weather, think us in Angus deserve it now, don't you?

Forfar Gala

Good morning, just packing the car ready for Forfar Gala day and really looking forward to it.  We are going to be outside with Wax Teddies amongst others so are hoping for some great sunshine.

Only 2 weeks to go until the Glamis extravaganza and am getting lots of new stock lined up.  If any of you are going and are looking for something in particular, give me a shout.  Enjoyed the Royal Highland Show as a visitor yesterday and definitely want to exhibit next year.  Met some lovely exhibitors and really enjoyed hearing all their views.  Yesterday was quite quiet but Thursday and Friday had been incredibly busy.

Hectic Weekend

The lovely Gregory will be attending Dundee Farmers Market on Saturday for those last minute father's day gifts and I will be at the Alyth show sharing our new stall with Wax Teddies.  On Sunday we are going to be in Dundee at the Westfest and we are really looking forward to a busy weekend.

Please bob past and say hello if you are going to be at either one.  We love to see our friends.

Drymen and Crathes

Had a wonderful but very very windy day in Drymen yesterday and off to Crathes today to meet all the vintage tractor enthusiasts.  Had lots of brilliant feedback at the show yesterday and always enjoy meeting my customers.  The best part was meeting my facebook friends, so hello to all of you.xxx

Where have my weekends gone?

After a busy weekend in Dundee and Aberdeen I've got a few days breathing space to get ready for the coming weekend.  It is going to be the first agricultural show for Eeksie Peeksie on Saturday at the Drymen Show and really looking forward to it.  My new consignment of tractor and traction engines have just arrived so am going to be very very busy getting these ready for the weekend.

Going to be at Crathes Vintage Rally in Aberdeenshire on Sunday so the car is going to be fully loaded both days.  Just keep your fingers crossed for good weather.xxx

Busy weekend ahead

This is now the start of the main summer season and most weekends are now fully booked-hurray!!! Going to be at Dundee Farmers Market tomorrow and will be bringing many of my new cake plate designs.

On Sunday we will be at the Treetops Hilton, Aberdeen, for the Bumps, Babies and Beyond Fair.  We also offer a bespoke gift service which we will be showing on Sunday.  Many of our gifts can be personalised either with names or initials and make great birth, Christening or special occasion gifts.

How about one of our thimbles with the child's initials on or an egg cup with a name or initials.  We can also change many of our designs into Christening Gifts and give them that little bit of sparkle.

Hope to see you out and about over the weekend.

Wheres the sun?

Looking at the weather and hoping for a sunny day again tomorrow.  Going to be at Montrose Farmers market tomorrow morning and in Carnoustie for the help Chloe and Ayley Walk Campaign in the afternoon.  The craft fair is on all day Saturday from 10.00-4.00, so if you are in Carnoustie, go and give them some support.  It is being held at the Panbride Church Hall and it is for a good cause.

Have just booked the Drymend Agricultural Show and looking forward to meeting lots of new customers at the end of the month.xxx

Bespoke Orders

Hi, have had lots of enquiries recently re bespoke orders.  Just a wee reminder that in addition to the designs listed, we can source many different designs to suit your requirements and can even get bespoke details made for special events.  Personalised items, wedding favours, Christening plates/cups can also be produced.

What ever your need, give us an email with your requirements and we will do our best to fulfil them.  Any of our styles/designs of giftware can be adapted for that personal touch, at little or minimal cost.

We are going to be supporting the Blairgowrie Crafters Association this weekend on Sunday, at The Belmont Arms, Meigle.  There are going to be lots of stalls at this fun day so come and say hello.xx

Beautiful Blackford

Have just packed up ready for a weekend in sunny Perthshire.  Going to be at the Baxters Retail Outlet all weekend from 12.-4.00 for a great craft fair.

Sunny Dundee

Had another lovely day in Dundee and great to see a few "regulars" back.  Always enjoy a chinwag so please always stop by and say hello.

Egg cups went well today as did my doggy coasters and trivets.  Met some lovely new customers, love hearing their animal stories.

Crazy Cupar

Went to the lovely Cupar yesterday and met with the fab team in Tempt, a fabulous shop showcasing local talent.  They now have a lovely window display with Eeksie Peeksie cupcakes!

Busy getting ready for the Dundee Farmers Market and hoping for good weather.  Have been producing some lovely mugs ready for sale this week with tractor designs, chickens and thistles - not altogether!

Spittal of Glenshee

Took a drive to the gorgeous Spittal of Glenshee today and met the very welcoming Mr Ferguson who is now stocking Eeksie Peeksie Ceramics.  It is well worth a trip to the magnificent glen and the lovely hotel and enjoyed a lovely lunch there.  I couldn't believe that however hot it was, the snow hadn't completely melted but hey ho, that's Scotland.

Forfar frolics

Had a lovely morning on the green at Forfar, was a really busy one.  The sun was shining (something quite unusual for Forfar) and everyone was in a good mood.  Even better, I won the national sweepstake.  Whoopee!!! Just getting ready to go to a fundraiser at Memus tonight.xx

Father's Day Frenzy

Due to the success of our last draw which was won by a lovely horse fanatic from Dundee, we are launching another free draw to win a gift of your choice.  You can choose something from our website for yourself or choose something for your dad, a friend or relative.

We have a wide selection of gifts decorated with tractors (although I can do cars, bikes etc) on request, so there will be lots to choose from.  Thank you for signing our book and telling us what you think. we always like to hear your views.

Magical Montrose

Despite the wind and rain, had a fabulous time in Montrose, the people are always so lovely.  Love hearing your pet stories makes the morning fly by.  We are in Forfar farmers market this Saturday and will be at Memus on Saturday night for a big fund raiser.  Busy getting lots of new products ready for the local stockists and try and have something new every month on the stall for you regulars.

Tartan Madness

Well it's going to be Tartan Madness at the farmers market in Montrose this week, hoping for good weather and not the wind we are having at the moment.  Congrats to our competition winner A Millar, from Dundee who has chosen her gift.  Please keep signing the guestbook though, we love to know what you think.

Trumperton Tea Forge in Letham has just added us to its list of goodies, you can now find our products in their lovely coffee shop.  A good excuse to go and see the goat, horses, chickens, ducks and turkeys they have there, amongst other things.

Been incredibly busy sourcing new products for the stalls and the website, hope you like them.  Don't forget, if there's something you want us to find, just let us know.

Dundee hooray

Had a wonderful day in Dundee if a wee bit cold.  Its always great to meet the customers and hear about their own pet stories.  A lovely lady was telling me about their naughty cockerel the farm had when she was young.  Unfortunately he met an untimely end as he would attack anything that moved.  Luckily my cockerels arent like this, although they would go for each other so have to be kept apart.. Our Roger was once seen trying to drink from the farriers coffee and he has surprised many a postman by appearing at the front door, behind them.

Forfar in the snow?

Been very busy getting our products ready for Forfar this week, although the threat of snow is a wee bit worrying! Got a few new teapot designs to try out tomorrow and a lovely chicken cake plate, so watch out the people of Forfar.

Turned cold this week so going to have the thermals packed for tomorrow.

Facebook up and running

Our facebook page is now up and running and can be found be entering EeksiePeeksie in the search bar.  Please click on the like button, trying to get up to 25 likes by the end of the month and then, who knows?

New products to be introduced soon, include 2 cup teapots and coffee pots and a range of new cream stoneware.  If there is something we dont have but you would like, just give us an email and let us know.

Montrose was lovely

The sun shone in Montrose yesterday and it was a lovely day.  Had lots to talk about the dog and cat lovers on the stall as the animal tiles and coasters were a big hit yesterday.  I love hearing about what type of dogs you have, gives me the opportunity to discuss my own lovely dogs.

What a busy weekend getting ready for the next month's farmers markets.  Appearing in Montrose this week and Forfar the next week, we will also be (hopefully) attending the farmer's market in Dundee.  A new addition to our range of shops featuring Eeksie Peeksie is Sydney David, the lovely gift shop in Brechin, which now stock a range of our products.  Sometimes the shops will feature different items from the website but if you see something you like out and about, don't hesitate to contact us.

We are also busy preparing for the summer agricultural shows, look out for us at the Angus Show in the new Showcase Marque.

Been busy getting some new ranges ready for the website including the horse range of gifts and ceramics and a new Highland Shop.  Our garden is always over run with partridges and the like and now you can have them in your kitchen. Peel Farm at the Loch of Lintrathen will be opening its new farm shop soon and they will be stocking a wide selection of our products and we are busy taking bookings for the summer agricultural shows so we will definitely be out and about this year.

Met with the lovely Heather and Ian from West Park Nursery, Tealing, who run The Speckled Hen.  They are now stocking a selection of our goods.  We drove through the heavy fog to find them yesterday and they were extremely welcoming.  West Park Nurseries also attend many farmers markets in the area and stock a wide range of fruit, veg and plants, so keep an eye out for them.

Thanks to the rain controller who stopped the rain at 9.00 ready for the farmers market in Forfar.  Met lots of lovely customers and one lady even cried.  She was brought up on a farm and loved the farm animals.  She said she would definitely come back next time!

Having the afternoonn off but going to cook some lovely sausages from the farmers market for tea, a well deserved rest.

Although the weather is looking bleak, I am hopeful for a good day at Forfar tomorrow.  I will be taking new items with me including a wider range of my gingerbread giftware which will be appearing on the website very soon.  I've run into more problems with the website which I am in the process of rectifying so bare with me.  If you cant buy the item you want, please email me and I will sort it from this end.
I cant believe how cold it is today, I had to break the ice on the horses water which is never a good sign.  Hopefully by this afternoon, new products will be appearing, technology permitting.

Sorry to all those of you who have tried to access my email.  I have put the glitch right and you can now email me and buy the products!  I'm in the process of putting everything into sections for shopping ease so hope you like the changes.

It's no longer snowing in Angus and would you believe it, we are starting to book up for shows in July, August, September already.  They seem a long way away.  Been busy preparing products to go to Milton Haugh in a few weeks, kept me out of mischief at least.

The rain and wind held off for the farmers market on Saturday and though I lost all feeling in my feet, it was a lovely morning and everyone gave me a very warm welcome.  Off to Forfar on Saturday in the Myre, hoping it's not as drab as the weather has been today, lots of snow and rain.

Met with the lovely Lesley from Milton Haugh Farm Shop in Carmyllie who will be stocking Eeksie Peeksie in their shops in Edzell and Carmyllie in the forth coming weeks.  Got to get my skates on and complete the order for her.  There will be lots of early morning runs to the garage in my pyjamas this week for the kiln.

After an extremely windy and wet night (I was paddling into the garage to empty the kiln last night) I'm nearly ready for the farmers market tomorrow.  I don't mind the rain or even snow, but I don't like wind and ceramics for obvious reasons.  I was at a gorgeous Scottish castle in the summer, Cortachy, near Forfar and some of my stall blew away then.  I am now cautious about anything that can send my stock flying!

First farmers market of the year coming up next Saturday in Montrose and by all accounts snow is due very soon!  Forfar is the second Saturday in the month and want warmer weather for standing outside.  New products coming this week include more types of gravy jugs and large quiche dishes.  Watch the site for more news very soon.
